Platform-Specific Tips

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  • β€’ Use Safari to download - tap "Open in Minecraft" when the download completes
  • β€’ If the file saves to Files app, open Files β†’ Browse β†’ Downloads β†’ tap the mod file
  • β€’ Make sure Minecraft is installed from the App Store before importing

Android

  • β€’ Tap the downloaded file in your notification bar or Downloads app
  • β€’ If asked which app to use, select "Minecraft"
  • β€’ Some file managers can directly open .mcpack files

Windows 10/11

  • β€’ Double-click the downloaded file - Windows will automatically open Minecraft
  • β€’ Files are stored in: %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_...\LocalState\games\com.mojang
  • β€’ Make sure you have Minecraft for Windows (Bedrock), not Java Edition
